[Product Image] This tour will depart from Portland, Oregon, on Sunday, July 26th, at 8:00 a.m. traveling along the Columbia River and entering Oregon via the Umatilla Bridge, then via Hwy 12 into Idaho.  After your day whitewater rafting you will head over the Bitter Root mountain range for an overnight at Virginia City, MT, before entering Yellowstone and enjoying the beautiful Lake Yellowstone Hotel.

After spending a full day and two nights exploring the park, you will travel on to Cody, WY, via the Chief Joseph pass route where you will experience another full day of exploring the Buffalo Bill Historic Center and the many stores along main street. You will experience the historic Irma Hotel and Restaurant, still owned and operated by a direct descendent of Buffalo Bill. Then it is on to Jackson, WY, via the Grand Teton Parkway with plenty of stops along the way for pictures. With two nights and another full day in Jackson and the Teton Village, you will be able to relax at the foot of the Tetons as the headwaters of the Snake River slip by your feet.

Your return to the Portland area will take you past the Craters of the Moon National Monument and then through central Oregon. This 13 day 12 night tour will be remembered for the many sights you capture along the way.

Points of interest along the way will include:

Going:  Washington’s Scenic Hwy 14 to Hwy 12 where you will travel over Lo Lo Pass and into Montana. Turning south toward Salmon, ID, and then continuing east onto Virginia City, MT, and Yellowstone National Park, WY.

Returning: The return leg will have you travelling the John D. Rockefeller Memorial Parkway, the Grand Teton Park Drive, Jackson, WY, and back across the southern end of Idaho.  Passing through central Oregon you will have enjoyed some of the Northwest's finest back roads.

This 2300 mile, 13-day tour will include 12 nights lodging, dinners, and breakfasts.
