Early spring sunrise over the lake and Wizard Island.

Departing from Portland Oregon, this 3 day, 2 night's trip to see Oregon's only National Park.  Deep blue Crater Lake, deepest lake in the U.S., fills the crater of a volcano that collapsed 6,800 years ago.  Leaving the Portland area, you will head south and take the McKenzie River pass over to the La Pine area where you will enjoy your first night's stay.  After spending an enjoyable evening getting to know your fellow riders, you will embark on the second day and travel to Crater Lake where you will ride the rim road around the lake.  You will enjoy many stops along the way including the opportunity to visit the lodge and other photo opportunities, etc.  After enjoying the second nights rest, you will return to the Portland area via Sisters and the Santiam Pass.
